Environmental management system tools: a review for SMEs in Latin America

Abstract

The tools of the environmental management system are developed in two approaches for the product and the organization, for the product focus are the evaluation tools of environmental performance and environmental audit. Subsequently, analysis of life cycle, eco-labeling and study of environmental impact in organization, this review aims to know the influence of the tools on the approaches and their relationship with ISO 14001 certified companies in Latin American countries.
