Validation of business sustainability in the city of Neiva

Abstract

Business unit evaluation was carried out from theoretical approaches of sustainable development and formal relations analysis, social network, environment, self-sufficiency, innovation, ambiental management, human capital, productive diversity, differential market, productive leverage and comunitary and productive linkage of organizations, which let point the processes of business improvement. Traditional economic valoration methods and multi-criteria analysis complements the theoretical sustentation of this work. Additionally, in this study was carried out a field application as pilot test for 42 business units (small, medium and big enterprises) from the city of Neiva, Huila, in which was reached the identification of main relations and characteristics of workers face to knowledge. Finally, results obtained by SPSS V.19, validates the traditional, empirical and vernacular knowledge from workers in enterprises, which let generate added value and sustainability to organizations.
